The 20th Annual Uncork A Cure

Uncork a fabulous evening of great wine, fantastic food, a terrific silent auction, and Atlanta's hottest networking opportunity! And all for a great cause! Participating restaurants are among the top tier of Atlanta-area food venues. Past participating restaurants include Woodfire Grill, Bacchanalia, Peasant Bistro, Morton's Steakhouse, Watershed, 4th & Swift, Dogwood and many others.
Your ticket purchase and/or charitable donation will support the AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta (ARCA)'s free, anonymous, rapid HIV testing program and our ability to offer the latest, new investigation treatments for HIV through clinical trials. ARCA has been involved in the development of over 25 of the currently licensed drugs that now help millions of people worldwide to live longer, healthier lives in spite of HIV infection. We also conduct HIV prevention research, including research into vaccines and drugs to stop the spread of HIV.
ARCA, a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) center, has provided free HIV testing for over 6000 people in metro Atlanta. We offer HIV education, risk-reduction counseling, and free, anonymous, rapid HIV testing at local colleges, including Georgia State, Morehouse, and Spelman. But our HIV testing services have been scaled back because of lack of funds! We do not receive government support for our HIV testing program, outside of research studies. And money is tight in this economic downturn. Please help us save - and expand - our free HIV testing services! If you don't know you have HIV, you can't access the successful treatments that are available.
